Best Picks for week 13 NFL and Game reviews below.
Two incredibly talented AFC teams hit the gridiron in this game.
The Los Angeles Chargers sit at 6-5 on the season despite so much talent across their roster. Justin Herbert is without a doubt one of the best young quarterbacks in the game.
He is partnered up with a great offensive line, Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.
This offense has put up multiple 40 plus point games already, but that hasn’t been their problem. Executing on defense has been a serious issue.
They have allowed far too many teams just run all over them, including last week when they allowed the mediocre Denver Broncos offense to score 21 points and dominate time of possession. That just can’t happen when you are a playoff caliber team hoping for a playoff push as we near the end of the regular season.
Their road doesn’t get any easier though because the Bengals are one fantastic team.
Joe Burrow is right up there along the likes of Herbert and he has himself a stacked offense that can score a lot of points also.
Ja’Marr Chase and him form a formidable duo, but they also have other weapons like Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd who can make impacts in the passing game.
The offensive line needs a bit of work pass protection wise, though their run blocking has been stellar, just ask Joe Mixon.
Defensively, they have been far better than anybody could have expected earlier in the offseason. They just held the Pittsburgh Steelers to just ten points in their last game, and seven of those points game very late in garbage time.
These two teams counter each other well and have explosive offenses. I think we will be seeing a huge 40 to 40 type of game where the team with the first defensive stop ends up winning the game.
I love the Chargers and their roster, but I don’t trust their inconsistency on both sides of the ball. I’m taking the Bengals here, a win would push them up to 8-4 on the year.

This is a huge game for the AFC playoff picture, and their division as a whole.
Let’s start with the Baltimore Ravens here. They are 8-3 on the year but have had a lot of trouble this season.
They have the most players on injured reserve out of any team in the NFL at the moment and have miraculously come back and won games that they shouldn’t have.
Last week was one of those games, as Lamar Jackson threw four interceptions for the first time in their career and they still beat the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens offense looked atrocious and out of sync. If that is the case again, they may not have enough magic in the tank to pull something like that out again.
Devonta Freeman is a great fill in back for them though, constantly providing a spark when they need it most in the run game.
Defensively, they are towards the bottom in the majority of statistical categories but last week could be a positive turning point for this group.
Flipping over to the Steelers now, they are just a complete mess. We had this whole story going around about Chase Claypool wanting music during practice and it just seems like this team doesn’t have chemistry whatsoever.
Ben Roethlisberger is definitely nearing the end of his career after a horrible performance last week, but hey, Diontae Johnson is an absolute star at wide receiver for them. Same goes for Najee Harris, who got stuffed last week but is still one of the best rookies this season.
Defensively, they are strong, but really banged up. Minkah Fitzpatrick, Joe Haden and TJ Watt have all missed time the last two weeks. Watt is the only one doubtful to return for this game, he is their best pass rusher and will again be badly missed.
Pittsburgh usually has good success against the Ravens when looking at the last decade of games.
I feel like this could be a great bounce back game for them. Though they have been embarrassed a couple of times this season and with the way Roethlisberger is playing, I can’t see them winning. Take the Ravens in a close one.

Buffalo Bills one of our Best Picks for week 13 NFL
This is without a doubt going to be the game of the week.
A huge AFC divisional showdown that could shake up the way the seeding ends up at the end of the season.
The New England Patriots are on absolute fire right now, winning six straight games. They aren’t even close either.
They have shut out the Atlanta Falcons 25-0, beat the Carolina Panthers 24-6, stomped the Tennessee Titans 36-13, embarrassed the Cleveland Browns 45-7, made a fool of the New York Jets 54-13 and had a great win over the Chargers 27-24.
These scores are a fantastic representation of stellar defense and efficient offense, led by Mac Jones, the leading candidate for rookie of the year, or at least one of them.
This whole team is one fire, but unfortunately their opponent here is amazing as well.
The Buffalo Bills just made light work of the New Orleans Saints last week and outside of a few questionable losses this season, they are just getting win after win.
Josh Allen is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now with a receiving core that consists of Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasly.
Their defense is also ranked second in the NFL in terms of points allowed to make them even better.
I think the big difference in this game will be the Buffalo ground attack though.
They really made an effort to get it going against the Saints and we saw how that worked when they won 31-6.
They have great backs; they just need to utilize them to their advantage and dominate time of possession.
This is going to be such a close contest the entire way though, but I am going to take the Bills in this one.
The Patriots are one of the hottest teams in the league, but Buffalo does have a better quarterback and a top defense to go along with it. I’ll take the Bills.
