Flacco Is Just An Average Joe
Flacco did lead the Ravens to a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 47. No, he isn't the worst quarterback to win a Super Bowl, but he'd be on the ballot.

He's never finished better than seventh in passing yardage in a single season and never higher than 10th in touchdown passes. His best finish in passer rating is ninth overall.
It's Washington, By George
The most logical landing place for Flacco, for a variety of reasons, is with the Redskins.
Washington QB Alex Smith underwent several surgeries on his broken right leg. He's expected to need 6-8 months to recover.
Flacco is the ideal guy to keep things warm under center until Smith gets back to 100%, especially if they are certain that Smith is coming back, because they inked him to a four-year, $94 million contract extension in March.
Alex Smith's status is improving, but the Redskins will still need to look for another QB. Joe Flacco will be available. Would it work? https://t.co/mNhA9uE4FN

Like Smith, Flacco is a game manager type of quarterback.
You need to surround him with a dynamic running game, a solid offensive line, because he's not the most elusive guy back there, and couple him with a stout defense.
Washington sits in the middle of the pack in these categories – 17th in rushing, 15th in defense and 19th in sacks allowed. But can the Redskins afford Flacco?
The Giants have a terrible line, Oakland has committed to Derek Carr, and Jacksonville has no cap space.
For starters, Is Flacco Starting?
Bovada is also out with a prop bet on whether Flacco will begin next season as a starting quarterback, and if Washington is indeed his destination, there's no doubt he would be the guy, considering Smith's current status.

No | +250 |
A wildcard in the scenario could be the future of Ravens coach John Harbaugh. If Baltimore opts to part ways with Harbaugh, Flacco could follow him to his new landing spot.
