Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints
Lately he has been working as the every down back with Latavius Murray off the roster and Tony Jones out with an injury.
Ingram will be a much-needed presence in the backfield as that seems to be their only offensive strong suit. Jameis Winston has been great this season but unfortunately doesn’t have any consistent weapons to throw the football too with Michael Thomas still not ready to return.
The offensive line has been a little banged up but Kamara has been the sole force that they have needed to be at 4-2 right now.
Their defense has also been phenomenal all season except for the game against the Carolina Panthers.
Demario Davis and Marshon Lattimore are two of the best players at their respective positions and this defensive line is starting to heat up.
They do have a very hard matchup this week with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming to town.
Tampa Bay lost to them twice throughout last year's regular season but got revenge in the Divisional Round matchup after a costly Jared Cook fumble which ended up being the turning point in the game. It is going to be interesting to see how this matchup plays out this time around.
The Buccaneers are one of the best teams in football right now behind Tom Brady and an absolutely stacked receiver core.
Their offensive line has played like one of the best in the league as well.
The defense has been an issue though.
They have fortunately played a lot of mediocre offensive teams lately and have looked really good, but that secondary is very questionable.
Devin White and this linebacking core are stellar players though and lock up the entire middle of the field.
This defensive line has also helped Tampa Bay rank as one of the best run stopping teams in the league, which is exactly what the Saints want to do here.
It’s going to be really hard to pick this game. I know everybody is rolling with the Buccaneers because of how talented they are but we did this last year and the Saints had two huge upset victories.
The underdog doesn’t look that bad here, the Saints might be worth a shot. That’s my pick this weekend anyway!
Pick: New Orleans Saints
Dallas Cowboys @ Minnesota Vikings
The Cowboys are playing like one of the best teams in the league right now. Dak Prescott hasn’t skipped a beat since missing almost all of last season and it seems like Ezekiel Elliott has trimmed down enough to get back in the top running backs conversation.
Amari Cooper and Ceedee Lamb are a formidable receiving duo and we all know how great this offensive line can be.
Defensively, they were supposed to be really bad but have been incredible.
Trevon Diggs leads the league in interceptions by a very substantial margin and has led the secondary.
Their linebackers have been solid also outside of the now released Jaylon Smith. On the other side of this matchup, the Vikings have been rolling. They were pretty bad right out of the gates but are slowly finding their identity.
We all know how fantastic Dalvin Cook is when he is healthy, but pairing him up with Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen makes it wildly difficult for defenders to keep up.
Kirk Cousins hasn’t gotten a lot of love lately either and he has been playing like a top ten quarterback in this league.
Their offensive line is a little shaky and same goes for their entire defense, but the weapons on offense could get them an edge.
It will probably be a high scoring game between these two talented groups, one that I believe the Cowboys will win in the end.
I just have seen Dallas perform better defensively than Minnesota has all year and this could be a game where stops aren’t all too common.
Pick: Dallas Cowboys
Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts
The Titans just keep on finding ways to win games and are officially the hardest team to judge in the league.
How is it that they lost to the New York Jets, but have beaten the Seattle Seahawks, the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs?
Nevertheless, Derrick Henry is without a doubt the best running back in football and it isn’t much of a debate anymore.
Ryan Tannehill has benefited from his dominance in the ground game and has been involving AJ Brown a lot more.
They are still working to get Julio Jones into this offense but it hasn’t happened yet, which is scary to think about.
Their offensive line is great on the ground but can’t pass protect well.
Defensively, I still don’t trust them at all and don’t believe they are a very good group.
Unlike the Colts, who are led by Darius Leonard and a ton of other scrappy young players.
This group is physical and knows the Titans incredibly well. Offensively, they are surprising with Carson Wentz playing above average and Jonathan Taylor making a case for being a top ten back in the league.
Division games are always tough to pick in the NFL but I like the Titans in this game.
Normally, I would roll with the Colts because I think that they are a dark horse playoff team that could shock a lot of people.
However, I have doubted Tennessee the last two weeks and they just beat two of the most talented teams in the league.
This team will once again find a crazy win to win this ball game and drop the Colts down a bit. Don’t expect it to be a blowout either way though.
Pick: Tennessee Titans
