Week two is bound to be an interesting one throughout the NFL. There are bound to be a ton of great games for everybody to make their picks on who is going to win.
Let's go through the best picks for week 2 NFL 2020.
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, Fox
One game that should be a no brainer is the San Francisco 49ers at the New York Jets.
I think the 49ers are the best possible pick this week due to how much more overall talent they have over the Jets.
Even though the 49ers lost in their Week 1 matchup, there is no way that they lose this game behind their incredible defense.
Their offense should also be firing on all cylinders in this game due to how bad the Jets defense is.
While the Jets have some talented players on their team, they have a ton of holes to fill throughout their offense and defense that makes this team impossible to pick in this matchup.
To makes things even more enticing for the 49ers, the Jets will be missing star running back Le’Veon Bell after he suffered a hamstring injury back in Week 1 while they were getting handled by the Buffalo Bills.
Out of all the games going on in Week 2, this should be the most obvious choice out of them all.

Another team that is in prime position to win their matchup would be the Baltimore Ravens when they square off against the Houston Texans.
The Ravens have proved that they are still Super Bowl contenders after their shellacking of the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 behind reigning MVP Lamar Jackson.
Meanwhile the Texans have traded their all pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins during the offseason, and it hurt this team a lot in their season opener.
There were multiple dropped passes by different receivers, and they weren’t able to get much separation from a Chiefs secondary that isn’t the greatest unit in the league.
If they are unable to get separation again in this matchup then it will come down to the Texans defense that is led by J.J. Watt to stop Jackson and the high-powered Raven offense.
To put it nicely, the Texans defense is just not that good.
They were unable to stop Mahomes and the Chiefs on opening night and aren’t going to be able to fend off Jackson and company for the length of the game, they need to score a lot of points in order to keep the momentum from slipping away early on.
It just doesn’t seem very likely given that the Ravens have a very solid defense themselves and their offense is just too much to handle for any team. They seem like a surefire pick to make in this Week 2 clash.

The matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins might be another game to place your bets on.
The Bills have just destroyed the Jets in their Week 1 opener and play another divisional rival in the Dolphins, who lost their season opener to the New England Patriots.
The Bills demonstrated how good their defense is yet again this season by shutting down all running lanes for Bell and putting a ton of pressure on young quarterback Sam Darnold to pass the ball.
The Bills also showed how dangerous they can be offensively as well due to Josh Allen being a great duel threat quarterback with tremendous arm strength and the ability to take off running at any time.
However, he did overthrow a few wide-open receivers because he didn’t fully rotate his body and rushed the throw and he also fumbled two times on runs, but those are things that can be worked on.
I expect him to play a much better overall game against the average defense of the Dolphins. Another reason to pick the Bills is that Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw multiple interceptions and was only able to score 11 points.
Although, knowing Fitzpatrick, he can explode at any given time, but he just didn’t look in sync with his receivers throughout the game.
It also doesn’t help that their number one receiver DeVante Parker got injured during the third quarter and didn’t return to the game, his status is still up in the air for this game.
But even if he plays the Buffalo Bills should be a great pick in Week 2.

Lastly, we have the New Orleans Saints taking on the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Saints just beat one of the most hyped up teams in the league in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and still have one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL with weapons across their roster.
They should be more in rhythm in Week 2 against a Raider defense that just allowed 30 points to the Carolina Panthers who don’t have nearly as explosive of an offense as the Saints.
The Raiders are going to need to put up a ton of points in order to make up for their below average defense and try to win the time of possession behind Josh Jacobs and the run game.
Unfortunately for them, the Saints had one of the better run defenses in the league last year, and so far, are carrying that into this season after slowing down Tampa’s run game.
If the Raiders are unable to run the football, then their fate will be determined by how well Derek Carr plays.
But that Saints defense is nothing to mess around with and should be able to slow down the Raiders offense and while doing that, they should torch the Raiders defense through the air or even on the ground with Alvin Kamara.
The Saints are normally one of the better picks through each week and they are again this week, they shouldn’t let you down here and are one of the best picks for this week.
