Buffalo Bills @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Best Picks for week 14 NFL Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills oneof our Best Picks for Week 14 NFL

The Buffalo Bills were the unfortunate losers of a bad weather game last week.

The wind was so bad that neither team could really be efficient offensively when throwing the football.

The New England Patriots attempted just three passes all game but still knocked off Buffalo with their ground attack.

The Bills don’t have anything to fear though, this is still a playoff roster.

It was just an unfortunate game all around. Josh Allen and company will badly need a rebound against the reigning champions but it won’t be easy.

This Buffalo defense is still one of the best units in the league, even if they have allowed a few teams to run all over them.

Tampa Bay is the complete opposite, they love to air the ball out and win that way.

Why wouldn’t you when you have Tom Brady, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski and so many others on your roster?

The problem for them this season has been their defense though. Despite having so many talented players, the Buccaneers have really struggled in the secondary.

Some of that is due to injuries to key players back there and the rest is just due to poor play and miscommunication.

Buffalo is fantastic passing the ball and terrible on the ground, while the Buccaneers are one of the best run defenses in the league but one of the worst passing defenses.

The matchup just plays beautifully for the Bills, and it’s hard for me to see them losing again and having the possibility of falling to .500 on the season next week.

I’m going to take the Bills in what should be a really tight game the whole way through.

San Francisco 49ers @ Cincinnati Bengals

Best Picks for week 14 NFL Cincinnati Bengals our Pick for week 4

Cincinnati Bengals

For some people this game won’t be that entertaining but this matchup has a ton of playoff implications for either side.

The 49ers have battled numerous injuries all season long, though their backfield is so stacked that it hasn’t mattered much yet.

Elijah Mitchell is a stud and has been excellent when healthy. Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t been amazing as expected although he has had quite a few big moments.

George Kittle and Deebo Samuel are one of the best duos in the league as well, it’s really hard to contain both of them when Garoppolo feeds them the football on offense.

Defensively though, it’s been rough sledding. Their secondary hasn’t been stellar and frankly, neither has their run defense.

The Cincinnati Bengals on the other hand, have bene far better than what people expected heading into the season.

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are seriously a top quarterback-wide receiver duo in the league.

Joe Mixon is heavily benefitting from an improved offensive line and this defense turned into a top unit seemingly overnight.

The only flaw with this team is that they haven’t been consistent. We have seen them absolutely dominate the Baltimore Ravens, then flop against the New York Jets.

I’m really excited to see how this one plays out because it’s two inconsistent teams.

Both teams are coming off tough losses in their previous matchup, with the Bengals forcing a huge 24-point comeback before turning the ball over at a critical point in the game and then proceeding to get blown out.

Then the 49ers couldn’t convert on a touchdown on their last possession, losing by just a couple yards. At the end of the day though, I just have more faith in the Bengals this season. I’m taking them in a game that may very well end up being a shootout.

Los Angeles Rams @ Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals

This is going to be the most exciting game of the week by far.

The Los Angeles Rams are probably the most talented team in the league on paper, but their play hasn’t held up to that.

Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp are a dangerous connection, and even though they lost Robert Woods to injury they picked up Odell Beckham who has been getting more comfortable with the team every week.

Their backfield is also stacked, with both Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel being more than capable of taking 20 plus touches a game.

Flip over to their defense, and you see Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and Von Miller all staring back at you.

Donald and Ramsey are arguably the best players at their position right now and Miller still has quite a lot left in the tank, after all he is a Super Bowl champion.

Then you move onto the Arizona Cardinals. Kyler Murray is finally back in the lineup after missing three games and in his first game back he totaled four touchdowns.

DeAndre Hopkins also returned to the lineup to net himself a touchdown.

This wide receiving core is ridiculously good, outside of Hopkins there is A.J. Green, Rondale Moore, Christian Kirk and now Zach Ertz at tight end.

You would think that a defense this good could only mean that they have a bad defense but that is also incorrect.

J.J. Watt is out at the moment with an injury but Chandler Jones has picked up the slack on the defensive line as usual for this team.

Budda Baker has been stellar yet again and Byron Murphy has been a genuine surprise in the secondary to help them out even more.

These two squads already faced each other this season, with the Cardinals beating the Rams by 17 points in the first matchup.

With both sides relatively healthy coming into this one, I am going to say that the Cardinals sweep the Rams in this game and improve to 11-2 on the season.

Arizona has just been so good all year long even when both Murray and Hopkins were out with injuries.

Meanwhile, the Rams had been on a two-three game losing streak and only broke out of it last week because they played against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

I’m not saying Odell is the reason for their struggles, but there is so much talent on that team that chemistry could start to become an issue down the line.

Regardless of the cause though, the Cardinals win this game.

Pick: Arizona Cardinals
