- A year after the champion Philadelphia Eagles skipped a White House visit, odds suggest the winner will go this time
- Bovada’s odds currently have the winner visiting at greater than -200
- Is there any chance the Super Bowl 53 winner passes on Donald Trump’s invite?
Super Bowl betting doesn’t end with the final whistle. From what the Gatorade shower will look like, to who will be named Super Bowl MVP, to who that person will thank first, there’s action to be settled for hours after the game. But if you’re looking for a bet that won’t settle until long after the confetti has been swept up, give this one a look. Today we explore whether the winning team will go to DC and get a photo-op with Donald Trump (or whoever holds the title of President this summer).
Odds the Super Bowl Winner Visits the White House

Turns out a lot of the Eagles players, (keep in mind Philly is one of the NFL’s most socially conscious teams) didn’t really see eye to eye with ol’ Trumpy. So what are the chances one of this year’s participants puts their foot in the ground and says no? Let’s examine. The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House. Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event. Staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling. Sorry!

Will the Pats No Show?
I don’t even know why I have this section. What an enormous waste of space and characters.Patriots owner Bob Kraft praises ‘very close friend’ Donald Trump on eve of Mass. primaryhttps://t.co/8KuhAm18bX pic.twitter.com/sB1D21aEFJ

Moving on.I figured out Tom Brady’s secret. The reason he wins bigly. So much winning. Unbelievable amounts of winning…… It’s because he’s MAGA yo! #MAGA pic.twitter.com/nyDjIfPUrO

What About That Other Team?
The NFC champion New Orleans Sa… oops! My bad. I keep making that mistake for some reason. The Los Angeles Rams could also win the Super Bowl and how would they react to an invite? That’s a little harder to pinpoint. Rams owner Stan Kroenke gave $1 million to Trump’s inauguration campaign (a million for every championship Kroenke’s myriad of sports franchises have won). But he also put out some generic-ass statement in response to Trump’s complaints about player protesting. So maybe they aren’t on great terms?Pretty unreal fan angle of the Blown PI call in the Saints Rams game. pic.twitter.com/7MVa4MM45t

Either way, it will be on a large number of Rams players and coaches to call for the team not to go and it’s very hard to get a read on where they all stand. Considering the Rams franchise has never been to the White House (they were one of the teams that got preempted by other presidential duties), I could see enough of them just saying “yeah.”Statement from Rams Owner/Chairman E. How the No Could Cash
There’s no guarantee the government shutdown will have ended by the summer. Knowing what kind of meal awaits when the kitchen is closed, I could see both teams passing on that.Otherwise, the Yes feels like a good bet.
