Indianapolis Colts VS Jacksonville Jaguars:
The first contest of Sunday took place in London as the Jaguars found a way to hold off a Colts comeback. After falling behind 23-6 heading into the fourth quarter Andrew Luck rallied his Colts back with three fourth quarter touchdowns but still left London with a 30-27 loss.Tennessee Titans VS Houston Texans:
Just a few days after losing defensive MVP J.J. Watt the Texans found a way to pick up a much needed 27-20 win against division rivals the Titans. In the win Brock Osweiler threw for 254 yards with two touchdowns while the Texans held Marcus Mariota to just 202 yards with on interception.Cleveland Browns VS Washington Redskins:
The Browns and Redskins entered this week in search of win. IN the end the Redskins used two fourth quarter touchdowns to pick up the 31-20 win to move to 2-2 on the year while the Browns dropped their fourth straight game to start the season. Matt Jones helped carry the way for the Redskins picking up 117 yards on the ground with a score while Jordan Reed added 73 yards with two touchdown receptions.Seattle Seahawks VS New York Jets:
Even with an injured Russell Wilson behind center the Jets defense couldn’t slow down the Seahawks. Wilson threw for 309 yards with three touchdowns to help the Seahawks to a 27-17 win helping improve their season record to 3-1 while the Jets fell to 1-3 on the year.Buffalo Bills VS New England Patriots:
Bill Belichick and the Patriots have been the best team in the NFL for a long time but that couldn’t help them on Sunday as the Bills handed them their first shutout loss at home since he arrived. Tyrod Taylor connected on 27 of 39 passes for 246 yards with two touchdowns leading the Bills to an 8-0 win.Carolina Panthers VS Atlanta Falcons:
Every year we hear about the Super Bowl hangover and that has been the case this season as the Panthers fell to 1-3 on Sunday. The team couldn’t find a way to get it going while Ryan and Jones picked apart their secondary in route to a 48-33 win to move to 3-1 on the year and moving them to atop the NFC South.Detroit Lions VS Chicago Bears:
The struggles have set in for both the Lions and Bears this season as they met on Sunday in Chicago. In the end the Bears won a must win matchup behind 302 yards and two touchdown performance from quarterback Brian Hoyer to pick up their first win of the season while the Lions dropped to 1-3.Denver Broncos VS Tampa Bay Buccaneers:
Last season defense won the Broncos the Super Bowl and that type of production has showed up this season helping the club to a 4-0 record. The latest win came on Sunday after losing Trevor Siemian to a shoulder injury Paxton Lynch threw his first career touchdown helping the Broncos to a 27-7 win despite having to fight off bad storms late in the game.Los Angeles Rams VS Arizona Cardinals:
New City, New Attitude as the Rams rolled into Arizona with a win on their mind. That is exactly what would happen as the Cardinals couldn’t find a way to overcome a key injury to Carson Palmer who left the game with a concussion opening up the door for two key Drew Stanton interceptions. The Rams would get the 17-13 win to move to 3-1 on the year while the Cardinals dropped to the bottom of the NFC West at 1-3.New Orleans Saints VS San Diego Chargers:
After three heart breaking losses to open the season the Saints used their own fourth quarter magic to pick up a much needed 35-34 win against the Chargers despite getting only 207 yards from Drew Brees. In the loss Philip Rivers threw for 321 yards with two touchdowns but the teams running game managed only 38 yards on the ground.Dallas Cowboys VS San Francisco 49ers:
No Tony Romo, No Problem as Dak Prescott helped lead the Cowboys to their third win of the season as they knocked off the 49ers 24-17 on Sunday. In the win Prescott threw for 245 yards to go with two touchdowns while Elliott carried the load with 138 yards on the ground. Kansas City Chiefs VS Pittsburgh Steelers:
After getting stung by the Philadelphia Eagles in week 4 the Steelers bounced back on prime time behind a big time performance from Big Ben. Roethlisberger would complete five touchdown passes to help the Steelers to a blowout 43-14 win.Monday Night Football
New York Giants VS Minnesota Vikings:
The Vikings continue to show the country how good they are as they rolled to there fourth straight win of the season. The latest win came on Monday Night as they knocked off the Giants 24-10 to wrap up the fourth week of the season.
