WagerWeb Review

Updated: October 3, 2024

Welcome to our WagerWeb review. Read on to discover how to get the sign up bonus and learn about the many features of the top online offshore betting site. The WagerWeb sportsbook fits nicely into our list of best NFL betting sites to wager with.

WagerWeb is one of the most underrating betting sites out there. While this is not one of the big games in sports betting, a 20-year history of positive reviews makes WagerWeb worth looking into, especially with the great lines and promotions running on the site.

In this WagerWeb review, we will look at the many features of the sportsbook, including the website interface, available markets (including live bets), bonuses, banking methods, and customer service availability.

WagerWeb Review: Interface

When you first access the WagerWeb home page you notice that the entire website has a sleek, minimalistic design that is enhanced by a black/white/red color scheme. Getting around is easy, and the home page easily directs you using tabs for:

  • Sportsbook
  • Live betting
  • Casino
  • Racebook
  • Mobile
  • Promotions

In the sportsbook tab you can move on to the many sports available at WagerWeb, and when you click on a sport you can see current or impending events on a sidebar along with wagers available on those sports.

Clicking on those will cause a bet slip to pop up, and you can choose to fill out the rest of your wager or dismiss the bet slip.

Live bets are conveniently gathered in one place. Clicking on the live betting tab from the home screen will bring up all the current events, and you can see odds change in real-time.

WagerWeb Sports and Bet Offerings

WagerWeb has had two decades to build up a repertoire of sports to bet on, so expect to see lines on most American and international sports, such as:

  • Football
  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • Hockey
  • Tennis
  • Soccer
  • Boxing
  • MMA

You can even bet on more obscure bets, like reality television or politics, a feature that is not common with other sportsbooks.

When it comes to the types of bets you can place these generally include:

  • Straight bets
  • Round robins
  • Player props
  • Parlays
  • Combo bets
  • Live bets

WagerWeb has been working for years to make sure all your betting needs are satisfied, so there is very little you can think of that you cannot do on the website.

WagerWeb Live Betting

Live betting on WagerWeb is a dream. The sportsbook does a great job of keeping everything from getting cluttered on the page, and you see as much or as little information as you need.

Live betting odds on WagerWeb are constantly updating, and it is easy to see what you are working with. These wagers include things like:

  • Who will score next (player or team)
  • The scores at quarters or halves
  • Which team will foul next

WagerWeb tends to have better odds on most live betting lines, so if this is a major point of yours then you could benefit from this site.

WagerWeb Value

Overall WagerWeb tends to have reasonable value for its sports betting lines, even when compared to major names. WagerWeb sources lines from LinePros, so you can expect them to have the same odds as other sportsbooks using this sports betting data aggregating company.

WagerWeb is not slow to react to public opinion, but there is enough of a difference in reaction time that you could benefit from it. WagerWeb also has more valuable lines specifically on baseball and live betting, so bettors who focus here can easily boost their winnings.

WagerWeb Review: Bonuses

WagerWeb Sportsbook Bonus

WagerWeb has a few tiers for bonuses, and you get to choose the ones that work best for you.

Starting at the top you have a 100% free play welcome bonus. This has a minimum deposit of $75, and you can unlock a maximum of $250 in bonus funds with a rollover requirement of 18x.

The next level is a 50% cash welcome bonus with a minimum deposit requirement of $75 and a maximum of $500 in bonus cash. At 50% you would need to deposit $1,000 to obtain the full bonus, and then play through the funds 15x.

The third bonus level is a 30% cash reload bonus. Again, you must deposit a minimum of $75 to unlock the bonus, and it caps out at $500. The difference here is that the rollover requirement is only 12x, so freeing up those funds is a lot easier.

Moving down to the fourth level is a 20% cash OR 50% free play bonus. Either way, you still have the minimum deposit of $75, but the maximum bonus shoots up to $1,000 with a 10x playthrough requirement. You also get an extra 1% cashback on the total amount.

The last level is a 10% cash or 15% free play bonus with a lower minimum deposit of $50. Bettors at this level can still unlock a total of $1,000 in bonus funds with a 6x rollover requirement and 1% cashback on the total.

How to Unlock a WagerWeb Bonus

WagerWeb will not automatically apply a bonus to your account, so if you want to utilize the one you need to contact the customer service team after you make a deposit and before you place any bets.

You can also forgo claiming a welcome bonus. This might seem like you are walking away from free money, but the playthrough requirements on bonuses can end up being more trouble than they are worth by tying up your funds.

WagerWeb Review: Banking Methods

WagerWeb has a few banking methods available to bettors, but nothing compared to major sportsbooks. A major difference between WagerWeb and most sportsbooks, however, is your ability to cash out using Bitcoin, and WagerWeb handles this well.

Unlike other sportsbooks with the same options, Bitcoin transfers are available almost immediately. Bitcoin is one of the most popular methods for both deposits and withdrawals with the sportsbook.

Deposits

  • Credit cards ($17-$500): immediate deposits with a possibility of foreign exchange fees
  • Bitcoin ($25+): clear within an hour without any fees
  • Person to person ($100-$680): unreliable processing time and unavailable on Sundays; WagerWeb reimburses fees on deposits over $300
  • Cashier’s check ($1,000+): a percentage is available when trackable and the rest becomes available when the check clears (can take up to 6 weeks); fees are reimbursed
  • Wire transfer ($5,000+): 24-72 hours to become available; fees reimbursed

Payouts

You can request a payout from customer services from 1 am-12 pm (PST) Mondays and 1 am-12 pm (PST) Tuesdays through Fridays. WagerWeb also offers a free payout in a 30-day rolling period, but you need to request these on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Payout methods include:

  • Wire transfers ($10,000+): available in 3 to 7 business days; $75 fee
  • Bitcoin ($100-$3,000): same-day processing without fees
  • Person to person ($100-$300): no efficient timeline with varying fees
  • Cashier’s check ($500-$3,000): 10-15 days to receive with a $50 fee

WagerWeb Review: Customer Service

When it comes to contacting the customer service team at WagerWeb you can expect to speak with a knowledgeable member, whether you choose live chat from the main navigation menu, email, or telephone.

  • Email: csd@wagerweb.com
  • New account telephone: 1-800-326-6088
  • Deposits and/or payouts: 1-800-397-4319; 1-888-464-2387; Fax: 877-848-6582
  • Bookmarking: 1-877-512-7095; 1-800-701-2381; 1-855-924-3793
  • Backup: 1-855-725-3783

WagerWeb has plenty of phone lines to contact, and customer service representatives are available from 10 am EST to the last half-time or game of the day.
