It doesn't get much better than this: two promising teams trying to establish themselves as the alpha in the NFC North, as the Minnesota Vikings battle the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.

Historical Performance in Bears vs. Vikings Matchups

The Vikings and Bears have a storied rivalry, often battling for control in the NFC North. The Vikings have had the upper hand over the last five seasons leading up to 2018, winning 6 out of 10 meetings. One significant game occurred in 2017 when Minnesota clinched the division title after beating Chicago 23-10. Mack's impact on the field has set up the Bears' offense in favorable spots, and his performance against the Vikings will be a big factor.

Thielen has been sensational in 2018, with over 1,000 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns by mid-season. In games against top defenses, he often shined, proving his reliability and skill. He had a career game against the Lions with 179 yards. This showcased his ability to break games wide open. His chemistry with quarterback Kirk Cousins has been a driving force in the Vikings' offensive success.

If you believe the adage that big-time players show up in big-time games, then this should be a game where Thielen comes close to eclipsing those numbers in the first half.
