It didn’t take long for former Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson to catch on with another NFL team.
Just two weeks after being relieved of his head coaching duties with the Browns, Jackson has resurfaced, taking on the role of Special Assistant to Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis.
But where will he be next season?

With the move, Jackson has boosted his odds of holding an NFL job at the start of next season.

Jackson endured a rocky road during his two and a half seasons as bench boss in Cleveland.
The Browns posted a dismal 1-31 SU record, including a win-less 2017 campaign, over Jackson’s first two seasons at the helm.
But they did show signs of progress while going 2-5-1 this season. However, that proved to be not enough to save Jackson, who was fired by the Browns on October 29, and replaced by defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.

With over three decades of coaching experience, including considerable experience coaching quarterbacks and wide receivers at both the college and NFL levels, Jackson brings immediate help to a Bengals squad that has been limited to 14 or fewer points in two of their past three outings, and ranks 25th in the NFL with just 337.6 total yards per game.
Jackson had notable success during his tenure with the Oakland Raiders, serving as their offensive coordinator before becoming head coach. He helped improve the team's offense, boosting their points-per-game average.
