Dolphins vs Jets Predictions, Picks, Odds, Preview
Somehow, the New York Jets (+200000 to win the AFC title) are still in contention for a playoff spot, but it’s no longer in their hands to dictate their fate this season. In any case, they can’t allow a loss to the Miami Dolphins again, as the Fins defeated the Jets back in Week 9 (26-18) in South Beach. Will the Dolphins get another win at the expense of the Jets? Or will the Jets avenge that loss?

Betting on the Miami Dolphins (3-9)
The biggest takeaway from the Dolphins in Week 13 wasn’t their 37-31 win at home over the Philadelphia Eagles. Rather, it was their successful of a trick play that saw them score a touchdown involving a punter and a field goal kicker. You don’t see that kind of play every week. You also don’t see the Dolphins win often these days. But the Dolphins are in good spirits after that upset win over a team that just won the Super Bowl last year. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns against an interception, and he definitely benefited from having a talented receiver in DeVante Parker, who finally is having a breakout year. Parker burned Philly’s secondary for 159 receiving yards and two touchdowns on seven receptions. Miami is averaging 16.7 points per game this season but has put up 27.0 over the last three games.
The Dolphins are 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last four road games.
Betting on the New York Jets (4-8)
The Jets’ fuel finally ran out. After winning two games in a row, the Jets became the Cincinnati Bengals’ first victim of the season, as they lost to Andy Dalton and company on the road last Sunday, 22-6. Sam Darnold played poorly, completing just 28 of 48 passes for 239 passing yards with no touchdowns to show and was sacked four times for a loss of 30 yards. LeVeon Bell rushed for only 32 yards on 10 carries. The offensive line has been a big issue for the Jets all season long. One bright spot for the Jets in that game was the play of Robby Anderosn, who caught seven passes for 1010 receiving yards. Anderson has been playing well of late, collecting 87 receiving yards and a touchdown on 11 carries over the Jets’ last two games. The Jets can have more success on offense against Miami, which is last in the league in scoring defense with 31.4 points allowed per game and third-worst with 399.7 total yards surrendered per contest.
The Jets are 3-1 ATS in their last four home games.
The Dolphins win, 29-26.
