NFL Betting Odds Week 17
The second AFC wild card will be on the line on Sunday Night Football as the Indianapolis Colts visit the Tennessee Titans as 3.5-point favorites on the Week 17 NFL betting odds.
Indianapolis has emerged as the surprise of the 2018 NFL campaign, overcoming a dismal 1-5 straight-up start to the season by posting eight wins in nine outings to pull even with Tennessee at 9-6 ahead of Sunday night’s game at Nissan Stadium.
The resurgence of veteran quarterback Andrew Luck has been a game changer for the Colts. After missing the entire 2017 NFL season, Luck has returned to form, joining the league leaders in passing yards and touchdowns and earning himself dark horse consideration on the NFL MVP odds as a +5000 wager.
The Indianapolis defense has also contributed, limited opponents to 10 or fewer points on four occasions during the team’s 8-1 SU run. However, the Colts have struggled at times on the road, going 3-4 SU this season.
The Titans dropped a 38-10 decision in Indianapolis as 1.5-point underdogs in Week 11, but have held opponents to under 12 points per game during a four-game SU win streak. Tennessee is also undefeated SU in four straight home dates but remains a +150 underdog to make the playoffs in NFL football betting.
Vikings Favorites Hosting Bears on NFL Betting Odds
Elsewhere on the Week 17 NFL odds, the Minnesota Vikings can lock up an NFC wild card berth with a win when they host the Chicago Bears as 4.5-point favorites.
The Vikings recorded consecutive SU wins for the first time since Week 7 with a decisive 27-9 win in Detroit as 6.5-point chalk last weekend, and can claim the No. 5 seed in the NFC with a SU victory combined with a Seattle loss in the Seahawks’ date with the Arizona Cardinals as heavy 13.5-point home favorites.
The Bears have already locked up first place in the NFC North during an impressive 8-1 SU and ATS run, and have joined the favorites as a +800 wager on the Super Bowl odds.
Chicago can also claim a first-round bye with an outright win in Minnesota combined with a loss by the Los Angeles Rams in their meeting with San Francisco as 10-point home chalk.
But while the Bears came away with a 25-20 home win over the Vikings as 2.5-point favorites in Week 11, they remain winless SU in six visits to Minnesota since New Year’s Day 2012.
Ravens Favored vs. Browns in Week 17 Game
And the Baltimore Ravens can return to the playoffs with a win in their season finale against the Cleveland Browns as 6-point home favorites on the NFL betting odds.
The Ravens have recovered from a 1-4 SU midseason slide with a 5-1 SU stretch run, and can claim the AFC North crown with an outright victory. While a stingy defense has been crucial to the Ravens’ success, they face a Browns squad that has held opponents to 20 or fewer points five times during a 5-1 SU run that leaves them poised to record their first winning season since 2007.
In addition, a Ravens loss combined with a Pittsburgh win in their home date with Cincinnati as a 14.5-point favorite on the NFL betting lines would hand the Steelers their third straight division title, while bouncing Baltimore from the playoff picture for a fourth straight year.
