I do % too. Keeps you from betting too big when you luck into a hit early, or too small when your roll’s healthy. Also makes hedging math cleaner imo.

FWIW I’ve used a hybrid: small flat units early, then switch to % as the season narrows. Not perfect but less stressful. 🙂

Totally agree. Even a 5-10% line difference can swing EV over a season. And yes, emotional max bets are the fastest path to regret — stick to your staking plan!
